The lift line is non-existent and you're walking on run after smoking run. Lucky for you, and your neck, the lightweight Giro Remedy Carbon Fiber Helmet's on safety duty. Other wise you'd be suffering from a weighty, bobblehead-inducing, and neck-straining hardhat.
The CF Remedy is a good helmet. A great option for someone looking for a slightly lighter upgrade over a standard fiberglass model. The fit of Giro's full face helmet sis significantly different than a SixSixOne. The Giro models tend to be more round while the SixSixOne models are longer.
I originally purchased the Fox moto helmet, but felt like a bobble head. I purchased this helmet and love it. I'm a small girl and this has been the best investment yet.
Compared to a Troy Lee this helmet is bulbous. I bought one and now I use it as a loaner or when it gets really muddy and wet in Whistler. I prefer Giro Road and XC helmets to any other manufacturer out there. Their DH helmets aren't keeping up with the Joneses.
If you've got a head shaped like a bowling ball, this is the helmet for you. I needed something narrower, and ended up with a Fox.
