| A Little Small - These definitely fit a little small. I'm size 8 in most shoes but these Sabres are too rounded out at the toes and not wide enough. I'll need to stretch them out in order for them to be comfy. I'll most likely need a size 8.5 if the stretching out doesn't work. It's a bummer because the shoe itself is pretty comfy and good quality. But the midsoles feel plain and don't seem to provide any more cushioning than regular non-air midsoles. The insoles, in addition, feel really cheap. The one-piece collar & tongue might cause you to have difficulty inserting your feet in the shoes, but the advantage to them is that your feet won't slip out of the shoes if the laces aren't tied up. All in all I really like these shoes but the fit in the front toe box is definitely too small. I highly suggest getting at least a 1/2 size bigger. | |

| I'm a big guy (370 lbs.) who still skateboards. It's hard for me to find regular shoes let alone skate shoes. I wear a size 13-4E in most shoes, but when it comes to skate shoes I typically have to go up a size or two. I went with this shoe in a size 15 and it fits perfect! If you have wide feet and are looking for a great skate shoe that has style and comfort, buy these. I heard about Zappos from other co-workers so I thought I would give it a try. Using Zappos I saved by not having to pay sales tax and shipping, plus I received my shoes in three days! | |

| Extremely comfortable solid feeling shoe - I was very impressed when I first tried these shoes on. I myself tend to like "bigger" shoes and the sabres do the trick. Honestly, I wish that globe still made the Chet Thomas IV shoes, but these seem to be close to the design as far as comfort is concerned. These shoes are well built and also feel incredibly solid and durable. I would highly recommend these to anyone who likes the bigger shoes or laments the death of the Chet Thomas IV like me :D | |

| One sick skate shoe - As mentioned earlier the white shoe is hard to keep clean. Other than that its a great shoe and I have got compliments on it. Tried it skating the other day and it seems on par with other skate shoes I've owned. Price is probably a lil too high for what it is but I just noticed Zappos is now knockin the price down so those of you thinkin about it should go for it now. | |

| was worried after skating for 10 minutes in them how they would hold up. after doing a couple of ollies the piping around the toe cap was shredding immediately. now thats come half way off, kinda looks alright, just been skated in. not sure why globe put that embellishment on them in the first place. super comfy and great feel. would recommend as a comfy shoe for skating. i think beside the toe cap thing they will go the distance. | |

| I love this shoe. I got it a little while ago and it's definitely been my favorite pair for both looks and feel. They aren't really big, but they definitely feel roomy for my big feet, not too loose and not too tight in any area. The only thing may be getting used to wearing them with the attached tongue construction, but once I got used to that, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this shoe for me. | |

| First pair of Globes and they are a great looking shoe that feels really light and comfy while stepping compared to many other shoes but still very solid. I don\'t skate so not sure about durability in that department. Only complaint is that the shoe was slightly narrow on the outside of each foot, maybe a quarter inch. After a week I don\'t feel it that often, def would by again. | |

| I really liked these. With the majority of the shoe companies cutting costs, trying to pass off low tech, cheap vulc shoes as "in style", these really threw it off. Globe took it back to the Chet Thomas 4's. I liked the Chets a little better, but these are a close second. Comfy for sure. Nice Shoes. Might look like bigfoot though, if your in to skinny mini jeans. --VN. | |

| My son needed new shoes; size 14 is hard to find in Canada in the style he liked. He went on this site and found lots of shoes to choose from. We ordered these which he loves because they are black and comfortable. Got upgraded to one day shipping. Had them sent to my American post office, and now he is happy, and I get to pay for them. | |

Very confortable | |

I usually wear 9.5 but order size 10 as an advice from another user. He was right. A 1/2 ich more fit better for the toes and shoes are SO confortable. Laces could be thicker for skateboarding, though

REally Nice and Tech But Too Small
| Rating: | ![]() |
These shoes are very nicely made and super tech. However, the fit of the toe area is way too small. The toe box pretty much wraps around my toes like saran wrapper. There's no room whatsoever for my toes to move. They fit so small that I had to order a shoe-stretcher to stretch these shoes out. I normally wear size 8 but these size 8 Sabre's are much too snug. I highly suggest ordering at least a 1/2 size bigger than what you normally wear. Otherwise, the upper materials are nice and durable, but the air-bag midsole doesn't feel like anything special. The major problem with these shoes is the small and tight fit at the toes. Also, the tongue and collar are connected together in one piece, but conveniently holds your feet into the shoes even if the laces are loose or undone. It might take getting used to.
