Continuing in his tradition of designing funky, forward shoes for skating or whatever, Appleyard’s latest masterpiece is called the Vagrant for good reason. Apples doesn’t spend much time in any one place. He travels more than you can imagine, spending time in Barcelona, Huntington, Vancouver, Australia, South America and anywhere else his skating takes him. It’s a mixture of this nomadic nature and his diverse personal interests that brought forth this truly unique model that features a blend of premium action leather and suede and nail head canvas that’s been distressed and frayed around the edges. The Vagrant is also held together with Globe’s newly developed Ballistic Grade Thread (BGT), which is the best abrasion resistant stitching available. Plus, the Vagrant has our Air-Flow Foam, Form-Fit seamless and our anatomically molded internal PU footbed with gel heel pad for enhanced comfort and shock dispersion. All combined, The Vagrant is one of the most dynamic shoes skateboarding has seen in years.

| Things to Know - When I first got these I was soo stoked. I loved the way they looked with the lighter laces they came with. (The color of the rubber). But when I put them on they were tight on my toes. Not unbearably tight. If I wore no socks or really thin ones it was fine but it still worried me. I thought about sending them back but I didnt feel like going through all the trouble. So, instead, I kept them and hoped they would stretch. Which, in fact, they did. Not a lot but they are more comfortable. On top of that I skate daily so Im sure that helped loosen them. Ive had them for about three or four months and they are showing a lot less signs of wear from skating then I thought they would. For example, the rubber on the outside left toe, right at that point used for any kind of ollie/flip-trick, is worn down a pretty good amount but nothing is flapping around. Also the little shoe cover thing at that spot is just gone completely. That would probably be my one complaint about these shoes. I have to get new laces almost weekly. Normally I would just leave them looking all haggard but for work they gotta look nice. But even that isnt a complaint really. I love these shoes and I suggest anyone get them. Theyre perfect for ANY kind of skating. I prefer mini ramp speed stuff and gaps/rails but it's all good. Get some. Just get them bigger then you would normally get. Especially if you have a different brand now. | |

| Awesome shoe, but theres just one problem - I was very exited to get these shoes when I ordered them because they look so good (white/perforated). When I finally received them and put them on they looked and felt a little too big, half a size too big. Plus when I matched them up with my other shoes they clearly were a half size longer. That same day I ordered an exchange over the phone with ZAPPOS 24/7 service. SO THE ADVICE IM GONNA LEAVE YOU GUYS WITH is when you order these shoes, order a half size smaller. Trust me, Im a 9.5 and when I received my 9.0 it looked much normal...AWesOmE SHOES though...lol. | |

| Impressed with Zappos - The shoes are exactly what I expected. I had never seen these shoes in person. Found them online and hoped they would stand up to graphics provided by Zappos. I am absolutely pleased with the product. Fits good, looks good, that's all I need. Special note on Zappos- I ordered my shoes sometime in the evening after dinner and somehow received them the next day around noon. Talk about a deal- free shipping that shows up the next day?! I think this must have been a rare occasion. | |

| Sick - Another amazing shoe by Globe. I took out the original insole to increase board feel, because it had a thick sole. If you skate (which you shouldnt be buying these if you dont) I suggest doing the same. The hex track is extremely grippy, but the vulk doesnt last more than a few hours of skating. Over all its a good shoe though, but Im a 10 and I got a 9.5 so order a half size smaller. | |

| Great, but wear fast - Umm, where to start... these shoes are extremely grippy for a few days. I do a lot of varials/tres and after that, a whole patch of the hexegrip was gone and a chunk of the rubber. Other than the rather fast wear, these shoes are great and anyone who likes Globes (and those who don't) should give these a try. | |

Sweet shoe with only one minor flaw

These shoes rock. They are mad comfy and are stitched so well I haven't even skated through the stitching yet. They look sweet and I love the honey comb on the bottom. The only thing that pisses me off is the lacings lace up kinda tight so there is so much extra hanging off. No big deal I just have to rock the triple knot.

| Good vulcanized shoe. The upper is slightly more padded than most vulcanized shoes lately, but still not bulky. Similar to the Emerica Bryan Herman shoe in padding. The sole is VERY grippy. Cushioning comes from a thicker polyurethane insole, much like those in Adio or Supra shoes. Not sure yet on durability, only had them a couple of days (skated once so far). | |

| These shoes are so comfortable! They felt broken in when I first tried them on. I didn't buy them from here but I think every1 should get these 2 skate with or just to wear them. I've gotten a lot of compliments since I've got them and I don't normally get them on my shoes. | |

| Globe's Appleyard Vagrant - Excellent product and excellent service. Could not have asked for better service. The size I needed was not available the first time I tried to order. Zappos alerted me by email when the size was in. Would order the same brand, style etc. again and again and only through Zappos. | |

| The shred sock - Best shoe ever owned. The grip is amazing and the padding is comfortable. Ive been skating for a while and gone threw many pairs of shoes and can honestly say these are the best. Very durable and broke it in the first day. | |

| Globe Appleyard Vagrant - These shoes are decent but not all that great. They have good grip and are very comfortable except that the sole is a little too thin. I skated them for 3 weeks and got a hole in the ollie area. Everything about em is good except their durability. | |
