Great solution for sound on the go

I got this little thing for use on the bicycle after seeing several other riders going down the trail listening to music. Using headphones is simply too dangerous on a bicycle. The unit is quite rugged. Controls are very simple On off switch power led and charge led. a mini-usb jack serves as the charging port. You can charge from your computer or from a cell phone charger. There is a little slot to put your phone/mp3 player and an attached cord to plug the player in to.
The unit does fit in to a water bottle carrier or has attached bungee straps that allow you to put it about anywhere. Fairly light so putting it on a backpack wouldn't be cumbersome at all. You could also put it on a belt if you wanted to take it on hikes or long walks. I found that I can plug my tablet computer into the unit and watch netflix outside on a nice evening.
For such a small unit the sound is quite impressive. The manufacturer claims 20 hour run time but I wouldnt expect that. My mp3 player will need to be charged before then so if it can run 4 hours or so I am good with that.
One thing to note is there is no volume control. You control the volume through your mp3 player.

Goal zero speaker

This is a wonderful little speaker. It is clear and has a great sound. I gave one to my daughter for her laptop and one for my granddaughter's Ipod and I have one for my Ipad. You can put you Iphone or iPod in it and carry it listening to your music as you go. My daughter is taking hers to school to let her students listen to thing on her laptop because it's nice and loud as well as clear. It keeps a charge for a very long time. I would definately recommend it.

The small package allows me to use from my iPod or iPhone to play tunes with sufficient volume to really enjoy them on the go.
