| The GoFit kettlebell is an excellent tool for building power, strength, mass, and losing weight. I know what you're thinking: "But, the price is hefty!" Well, cheaper most certainly isn't better with kettlebells. Sure, you could probably find one for half this price, but it would be poorly constructed (and filthy, like the last one I bought from some no-name retailer.) The GoFit kettlebell, on the other hand, is of exceptionally high quality. You can throw this thing around and you won't see damage, which is an important safety factor. The GoFit kettlebell offers a wide handle, which allows two hands to be utilized comfortably, thus resulting in a greater range of exercises you can perform. Kettlebells differ from dumbbells in that they have a unique design which promotes greater range of motion on certain exercises. They also aid in developing explosive power. My heavy bag can vouch for me on the latter. The ONLY downside of this product is its appearance, which doesn't even relate to function, thus not affecting the rating it (deservedly) received. It looks very feminine. Most kettlebells have this masculine, "dinosaur" look to them that screams "people that use these are friggin' tough!" One must take the kettlebell seriously. I threw out my pelvis trying to show off to my friends with an 80 pounder. | |

| Kettlebells are amazing tools when used correctly. If you are new to kettlebell training I highly recommend this brand. Compared to other kettlebells, which are mostly found online, the quality is amazing. Remember, you buy cheap, you buy twice. The price and quality of this product is competitive when compared to Dragon Door kettlebells (I have a few) which are the best on the market. If you're looking to start training with kettlebells the included introductory DVD is great for simple explanations of basic exercises. These tools have been around in Russia for centuries and have amazing, unbelievable results when compared to traditional weight training. Try it! | |
