Positive Reviews:

Good vest for the price.

Rating:****
As a Professional Strength & Speed Coach I am always on the lookout for reasonably priced strength-training equipment that can serve multiple purposes and this vest definitely fits the bill. I've owned the vest for over 2 years now without any issues, it's held up very well despite heavy usage. Still has not ripped or torn. My only complaint would be that the weights are tedious to adjust since they have to be removed 1 at a time in half-pound increments but that's a problem with 90% of the vests available. The NFL and MLB athletes I work with love this because it's something they can use both in the weight-room and out on the field when conditioning.

Negative Reviews:

Great Form and Design, Poor Construction

Rating:**
Though I like the weight distribution and general idea of this vest, the construction is of very very poor quality. The way it forms to your body and the placement of the weighted units are a great design. If only manufacturers would have implemented stronger stitching, this vest would be near perfect. After three minutes of use (doing slow push-ups) I began to hear and see basic stitches begin to pop. It definately does not rate its [$] price tag as the stitching and materials used are sub par.

This vest is not good if ...

Rating:**
This vest is not good if you are considering running in it. The straps on the sides ripped the second day that I had it, so I took it back to get another and the same thing happened. It is good if you are using it for just weight lifting or walking.

Can't Handle It's Own Weight!

Rating:*
The vest is not up to the task for serious work outs. The sides came apart after one workout. You can't run in it. It simply can't hold up to it's own weight, major dissapointment. A much better strapping system is required.

Poor material quality

Rating:*
This vest fell apart after the first workout, the material the vest is made of cannot handle the weight.

Good for Light Work

Rating:***
I've owned this vest for three weeks. It's affordable, versatile and easy to use. I have two gripes: The vest tore at the seams were the velcro secures the vest to your body; the weight sits low on your body.
