Beautiful Jacket | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| This is a beautiful, well made jacket, one thing...the Color is not jet black, plus the black has brown trim. [...] So it's more of a distress black. I don't understand why there would be brown trim on a black jacket, but besides that issue this is a great jacket. | |

More of a Thick Shirt Than A Thin Car Co | |

| This is a very nice car coat, but you really need to know what you are getting into. These coats are sold at some of the finer leather stores around the country, including resort towns, and there is a reason why. This coat has a wonderfully soft feel, and the cut is right on. However, it is very thin. If that is what you are looking for, you'll be thrilled. If you're like me, and are looking for something more substantial, you'll be disappointed. For instance, the Thinsulate is a 40g weight. Even the Thinsulate tag on the jacket states that 40g weight is meant for hats, gloves, and accessories. It becomes relevant when you think that some winter boots have 400g weight Thinsulate! It fits more like a heavy, insulated work shirt, than a coat. Just go into this eyes wide open. Oh, I ordered the Large Tall, which, had this been thicker, would have been perfect. It definitely fell below my waist, and the arm length was about an inch longer, which all made for good coverage. I usually wear a 44L if that helps any. | |

Not up to GB Standards | |

| I have several Golden Bear jackets (from Sierra) which I love. They are usually well made and true to size. This jacket runs small. Some of the stitching seemed shoddy. Vey light, buttery soft leather, however. Might be fine for a slimmer wearer. | |
