The GoLite Men’s Ether Jacket weighs only 4.1oz and stuff into it’s own internal pouch. Basically, you can bring it on any trip and not even notice. You sure will appreciate this thin DWR-coated jacket when the wind picks up and light rain starts falling. GoLite even used anti-static fabrics to keep this jacket from clinging to your base layers.

This windshirt goes anywhere I do, regardless of the season. Combine it with a thin or midweight base layer and it becomes a lighter replacement for a softshell jacket in milder conditions. The cut is athletic, and the neck smartly bellows out at your chin to increase ventilation. Also, GoLite's current version has a full-zip front, as opposed to its older quarter zip models - again, for increased ventilation. | |

| A basic no frills wind jacket that performs as advertised. There is one small pocket that functions as a stuff sack. The packed size is very small. The blue jacket is much lighter in color than appears in pictures on the internet. It is not very masculine. Overall this is a nice, light jacket that cuts the wind. | |
