| The Lite-Speed is an absolute marvel. It isn't much to look at, but upon first use, it's clear that the pack is like nothing you've seen before. The balance is incredible and you could easily forget you're wearing a pack at all. I was racing up the mountain with this packed with a day's worth of winter gear and snowshoes stuffed in the giant "Shove It" pocket. The shape is unusual, but it balances the load close and low and allows unparalleled freedom of movement in your arms, allowing you to run as though you were not wearing a pack at all. The pack seems designed trail racing. The hydration pocket easily accommodates a 3L Camelbak reservoir, and the bellowy hip pockets are excellent for quick access to snacks, knife, camera, whatever. The capacity is ridiculous and highly adjustable using the compression straps. Overall, the design of the LiteSpeed centers on functional balance, allowing you to be lighter and faster than the rest. |

too long |

| I was looking for a backpack with a frame to be used more like a daypack. My problem is that I am short and this particular pack was too tall. If I looked up, the back of my head hit the pack, like a headrest. I am nothing more than a recreational walker/hiker. The quality appears to be first rate. The zippers were smooth and everything else clicked and cinched. As far as use I can't really say because I didn't load it up but the main compartment is huge. Depending on how you like to pack depends on whether or not you would like that feature. A big plus is that it narrows as it goes up from the bottom which really makes it great for a womans torso. |

Great Weekend Pack |

| I typically go for weekend backpacking trips near/on the Appalachian Trail involving 10-20 mile hikes. The pack is very thin and light, yet sturdy and holds a lot of stuff for 1-3 nights. The padding was sufficient. My shoulders were sore hiking, but that was it. Also, a side note about the sizing. I fall just a bit over the medium size being a 5'9" female, but the medium did work well. Overall, I recommend it. It's really an attractive bag. |

GoLite lives up to its name! |

| I bought this item primarily for day hikes and geocaching where longer walks are required. The overall design (padding, hip and chest straps, and internal frame) makes it a very comfortable backpack, even with heavier loads. I love it! I would definitely recommend to someone looking for a functional and light backpack with plenty of storage space. |

Love it! |

| I am a smaller framed person and this fits and feels great. For me it will be for more casual travel and day hiking, so I don't know how it holds up for more hard core stuff. |

| Great backpack. This is the second GoLite backpack that I have. I have the Odyssey also and it is great. I haven't used the Lite-Speed yet but I have no doubt it is great. |

| I bought it for my tween but she hasn't tried it yet. It looks sturdy enough and is very light and comfortable. But it also has no ventilation for her back. |
