| I wore this jacket on a recent backpacking trip to Olympic National Park in Washington State. Most of the trip was over[ca-st] or rainy, and on the second day I wore it all day in the rain: broke down camp in the rain, backpacked all day in the rain, set up camp in the rain, cooked and ate dinner in the rain. When I went to bed that night the shirt and pants I was wearing under my raingear were the only items I had that were still dry (rain pants were Sierra Designs Hurricane HP, also great). I found the jacket very breathable, though the temperature was cool so that might be a factor. It's kind of a funny fabric -- sort of rubbery on the inside. Size is generous, though I wouldn't go down a size. | |

| This jacket is aces for staying dry during hot summer months when you don't really want a liner. It slips on easily over a t-shirt or a fleece and has plenty of space for layers. Do be aware, though, that the second purple color is actually labelled tangerine, and is a bright orange. I was pleased because I paid attention to this and I wanted the bright orange color. And it is BRIGHT! | |

| I was between sizes according to the GoLite size chart measurements so I sized up but ended up exchanging for a smaller size. Based on this experience, use the "S, M, L" size system and choose what you normally wear. Small fits great and leaves room to fit layers. Super lightweight! | |
