Only for real cold

I live in New England, and even though we did not have any snow this winter, we do have bitter cold, and that is what these mittens are intended for.Anything above 40 degrees, and these are too warm. Your hands will sweat. They are nice and light and cozy inside. They are ezpecially good for windy days, as the wind cannot get through. All in all, a very nice cold weather mnitten.

Great mitten.

I wore these mittens when I ran at 33 degrees with wet snow falling. My hands stayed very warm and dry. I bought a Large size, planning on putting woolen mittens inside them on frigid days but they are too small for that, so I hope these Gordinis will be sufficient. I do not know how quickly they will dry from inner perspiration.

Reasonable price, reasonably warm

Not super warm, but for the price, it's hard to beat. GoreTex insert makes it truly waterproof without being too sweaty, and the palm reinforcement is extensive enough for good durability.

It would be nice if there were more qualofill, but that would probably have pushed it past this price point.

Warmest mittens ever!

I wanted a really warm pair of mittens for wearing when I ran in very cold temps. These are so warm that I've actually had to take them off a few times before finishing my run. They would be great for paddling in cold weather also!

Great Mitts

These mittens keep my hands warm...add wool liners and a hand warmer and you are good to go in below zero weather

I'll buy another pair!

Pleasantly surprised, because my hands are always cold. I added a glove liner for harsher temperatures.

Negative Reviews:

Not for people with long fingers

I hike for 3 to 4 hours with my dog each morning.I ordered these because I have a hard time keeping my fingers warm--gloves just don't work for me in cold weather.

These appeared to be well-made and are probably very warm, but unfortunately they were too short, so I can't evaluate anything other than fit. Both the main mitt area and the thumb were too short for my fingers. According to the size chart, I should wear a women's large, but that is based on circumference of the hand, not finger length. I returned them to exchange them for a men's size medium, so we'll see how those work out.
