Gordini Gore-Tex Gauntlet Gloves Reviews:

Positive Reviews:

Nice for the price

Ordinary gloves just don't cut it when it gets really cold. You need somethign that is going to be a LOT warmer. That's why I bought these.

I was looking for something that would match Another seller's Goretex Gloves and I will compare thes to them. Probably not as heavy, but they do take a liner. My hand is close to a 9 girth and these were getting close to being small (not as roomy as I wold have liked, but there was room). They weren't uncomfortable with the liners.

You definitely want liners if it gets really cold.

The one thing I would have liked to have known was whether these had integral glove cats (things to lash the gloves to your arms). They do not. No biggie, but something I like in winter gloves if I am going to be out and about in serious cold.

I'm giving these a 5 star rating since they are nice and warm at half the cost. They meet my expectations. So, they are definitely worth the money.

Great Snow Glove!

Great glove. The ballistic nylon is super tough without being stiff and the palm has a high quality, tough, composite pad on the outside to help with grip and increase the durability even more. The inside of the fingers are a good quality leather as well. Considering the durability of this glove its quite impressive how comfortable and pliable it is. Not stiff at all. The only thing that seems to be off is on the back of the fingers and at the knuckles there is a small part of the glove that is a much lighter and I would imagine less durable synthetic sheet type material. It has not ripped or anything but it just seemed slightly out of place and sub quality of what the rest of the glove is like. Still its really quite good and I could not find another glove anywhere near this price range that was close to the quality of this one.

Good Buy

I bought these gloves about a month ago. I've gone on several hikes already and they have kept my hands perfectly warm. I will be hiking the AT in 2012 and I will be bringing these gloves. I feel confident that they will do the job.

My only complaint is that the gloves are a tad too small. I bought an XL and I have big hands so that is nitpicking. Other than that, they are fantastic. You can keep water and snow out easily.

Gordini Gloves

The gloves are great. Went skiing and summit temps were below 0 degrees and was toasty warm. Only reason for not giving them 5 stars, was that they could have extended further up my arm. Old pair of gloves went halfway to elbow. These pair stop a little after the wrist. Overall a great pair of gloves though.

Great gloves in cold, snowy weather!

I've been looking for a pair of gloves that keep my hands warm when I have to clear snow off the driveway and sidewalk. I broke these in not long after getting them on almost 1 foot of snow and they kept my hands warm and dry for the entire 3 hours I was out clearing snow.

Pretty good for the price

Not super warm, but for the price, it's hard to beat. GoreTex insert makes it truly waterproof without being too sweaty, and the palm and finger reinforcement is extensive enough for good durability.

It would be nice if there were more qualofill, but that would probably have pushed it past this price point.

Gordini makes a quality glove

Have used my adult Gordini gloves for two winters now and they are terrific. So I bought two pair for my sons for winter camping with boy scouts. They noted how warm and dry their hands are now. Holding up great to heavy use. Very pleased and would buy again.

Hands are Warm, Dry

I use the gloves skiing, and since southern skiing often involves wet snow, these gloves will get a workout in wet, cold conditions. So far I am pleased, and I especially like the long cuffs that prevent my wrists from being cold & wet. I recommend the product.

Comfortable and sturdy

My hands perspired at just over freezing and stayed warm and wet for the rest of the ride. I would like the glove to breathe better. The glove seems to be more durable than a similar Outdoor Research design gauntlet glove.

Great gloves

Got gloves for my scouting son. Was out snow shoveling with lighter weight gloves and my hands were freezing, I switched to these gloves and my hands were comfortable in sub-zero temps. Would definitely recommend, great product with reasonable price.

Negative Reviews:

NOT for cold weather!!!!

These gloves are NOT at ALL warm! Advertised as such, but they are NOT. My husband gave them numerous tries, but they are just not warm! Will be returning them.

Not real good.

Use to shovel snow from walks. They do not keep my fingers warm.

Neutral Reviews:

An ok glove, that's it.

I was convinced by other reviewers that these gloves would suit my needs. They don't. If there's any sort of wind, my fingers will freeze. The rest of the hand stays warm but my fingers and thumbs ache. It only takes a 1/2hr outdoors in almost freezing weather for this to occur.
