Long-finger gloves are perfect for cooler rides where dexterity, grip, and comfort are a top priority. However, most long-finger offerings lack one or many of the aforementioned desires. Not the case with the Gore Bike Wear Xenon Long Gloves. In fact, the Xenon Long shares all of the dampening and grip enhancing features as it shorter option, but its extensive coverage also provides added warmth and protection.
This isn't a winter glove by any means, for that look at the Xenon SO or GT gloves. But, on fall or spring rides, the Xenon gloves are more than adequate. The back of the hand combines mesh panels with a blend of nylon and elastane in order to provide cooling air flow when things heat up. Additionally, the composition's stretch enhances the stretch and flexibility, while also increasing the gloves' level of durability.
The Xenon's thumb gets a traditional soft-wipe for absorbing excess sweat from the brow. At the palm, foam pads filter shock, which is further enhanced by a polyurethane and nylon knit that's not only optimized for grip, but to also absorb shock as well. And in terms of grip, Gore has added confidence to your descents and shift by coating the palm with silicone.
The Gore Bike Wear Xenon Long Gloves are available in six sizes from Small to XXX-Large and in the color Black.
