Bought the jacket hoping to use it for both mountain and road riding. I usually wear a medium but my chest is a little bigger than most men my size. Knowing I mountain bike 80% of the time I ordered a bit larger jacket for movement. Works great off road. But on the road it is a little loose in the wind, a medium would be great for me in this situation. Great jacket but if you ride both on and off road you may need two different sizes. Love it off road!
This is a no-frills, waterproof cycling jacket that does everything it claims. As for fit, I usually order up one size in cycling gear as it in general seems to run small, but in this jacket I find that my regular Large size fits well. I'm 6'1" and 175 lbs.
Played a golf tournament in a brief driving rainstorm and was dry to the bone. Rode 35 miles in rain on my road bike and not wet or clammy. Performed as a GORETEX product should, perfectly!
This is the best money I have spent for a jacket. It has performed flawless. I went a size up, however, and that has allowed me to wear a mid layer along with a base layer.
Size runs a bit on the small side so you need to order a size up, otherwise a great jacket.
