Knowing that many cyclists prefer tights in favor of bibs for late-season riding, Gore designed its new Power 2.0 Tights+ to be a staple lower body layer for both fall and winter. The Power 2.0+ Tights rely on Gore's lightly insulated fabric panels and streamlined cut to keep you comfortable, warm, and dry on all of your cold-weather riding sessions.
These tights use a lightly insulated nylon/elastane thermal fabric for the leg panels. This material features a brushed interior lining that's effective in wicking and managing moisture through a push-pull system. Essentially, this allows sweat to be drawn away from the skin immediately and pushed to the outer-surface of the tights. This effectively increases overall comfort by maintaining an optimal internal temperature. Flatlock seams keep the panels smooth against your skin, and the gripper elastic on the bottom hem hold the legs securely in place.
Gore included its Power Man chamois to ensure that you to sit comfortably for hours. Gore calls this insert its workhorse, and Gore uses it for these tights because it realizes that much of your off-season training will be constituted by long hours in the saddle. Accordingly, the Power Man has an anatomical fit with strategic elasticity and ventilation. After all, how breathable an insert is has much to do with reducing any potential for humidity-caused rubbing and friction. With this in mind, the outer fabric of the Power Man chamois is made from a hyper-moisture absorbing fabric.
Gore finished off the tights with reflective elements throughout, ensuring that you remain visible to motorists in low-light riding conditions.
The Gore Bike Wear Power 2.0 Tights+ are available in the color Black and in five sizes from Small to XX-Large.
