Grabber Battery-Powered Heat Sox -
Grabber® Battery Powered Heat Sox keep your entire foot warm in the coldest conditions with the flick of a switch. The heating element is located in the toe area providing ideal heat transfer to the entire foot. Generated heat does not exceed body temperature and won't feel hot to the touch. Wires are wrapped in soft fabric for increased comfort and don't produce heat. These socks are safe and won't shock or burn, even when wet. A 65/35 wool/nylon blend wicks moisture, keeping your feet dry. Remove battery pack before washing. Hand wash only. Each sock is powered by four AA batteries (not included). Diabetics, persons with circulatory problems, or anyone who may have sensitivity to heat applications applied against their skin, should not wear heated socks. Imported.

Don't Waste Your Time

I saw the mixed reviews of the product before I bought, and I thought I would give them a try. I am sorry I did. I bought 3 pair as Christmas gifts and 1 pair for myself for hunting. As soon as I got them I tried them out at home and decided I needed to send them back. The socks generally are very uncomfortable and do not heat very well at all (better off with a toe warmer in your boot). The battery packs require 4 AA batterys which cause the Sock to fall down. I would say its a good concept, but I returned all 4 pairs of socks.

Poor Quality

I bought these socks 2 days ago and tried them the first time today. When I opened the package and looked at them, I thought they looked cheap. They have 2 wires coming down the back of the sock and under the feet. I put the socks on and tried them today on high. I really could not even tell if they were working. I should have read the reviews. These are getting returned tomorrow. I would not recommend these to anyone, they don't work.

Poor Design

The first time I wore these socks I couldn't feel any warmth at all. The design for the location of the battery pack is poor (must pull your pant legs up to adjust setting). When I returned home with cold feet, found the battery pack had melted. Would not recommend this to anyone. Returning to the store for refund.

They are ok but could be better.

I purchased the battery powered sox because I have poor circulation in my legs. I had a pair of socks like these 20 years ago. The design has not changed much. They do heat your feet on the soles where the wires run but the top of my foot and toes got cold. I had them on high the entire time I wore them so I don't think the low setting is going to be much good unless you have good circulation in your feet and legs.
