I would buy this product again and again

Weighs in at only 10 oz., packs down to softball size and easy to put up. My boys prefer sleeping in the hammock during the week of Boy Scout summercamp and other troop trips. Great for backpacking. Kids also use for "backyard camping" instead of tents or on family camping trips. Hammock is very easy to put up and take down. Nicer hammock than many other brands that I see other scouts use.

One of the best purchases I've made.

I bought this hammock about a year ago and I still use it a lot. It goes up very quickly and the ropes don't slide down the tree or post very much at all. One thing I have noticed is that the trees must be either relatively thinner (<1 foot diameter) or close together or the ropes won't be long enough.
Its also very handy to pack up and carry around.

Love it!

I am using this to relax by the beaches this summer. It's easy to use tree straps to securely fasten it. I love that it folds up into a little bag and is so easy to set up. It's comfy too. My Mom (65 years old) tried it out yesterday and came home and ordered one of her own for her backyard. Love it!

Easy Storage and use!

after a couple backpacking trips lugging around a camp/sleep mat and trying to cut weight, i purchased this hammock after a friend had a similar one.

It rained the first night i had it and with a tarp stretched over top, I was sure glad i had brought this along!

Stands up to Scouts

The boys have used the hammocks to sleep in and relax during a week of summer camp, scout trips, backpacking and in the yard. Hammock is durable, easy to set up and no tangled mess of multiple lines on end.

good buy for the money

It's an easy to set up, light weight, but a little thin for an adult. It is however an awesome hammock for kids. My son used it and it worked very well.

Should have read the fine print

I love the hammock, but I didn't realize it didn't come with bungee cords, so now I am working on getting the cords so I can actually use it.

Good hammock for the price

I bought this for my teenage son who sleeps in my hammock whenever we backpack. He needed his own. Now I can enjoy sleeping between trees!!

Negative Reviews:

Extremely Dissappointed!!!!

Took it on a 3 night pack trip in Colorado. Went to lay down for the night and it literaly ripped into two pieces collapsing me to the ground. I weigh 215lbs and had no other gear in the hammock other than a sleeping bag. Had read other reviews and thought for the $$ it was a bargain....evidently you get what you pay for. Horribly dissappointed!

Durability not great!

We did not buy our hammock here from Campmor. My son purchased it somewhere else and has used it 3 or 4 separate times. This past weekend while sleeping and moving around, his hammock split on both sides and found himself sleeping on the ground. Yes it is light weight, but do not espect it to last very long.

didn't like the way the middle pulled tight and the sides were sloppy

Neutral Reviews:

Easy setup and take down

Weight limit is low for this grand trunk product. Although, it did hold 270lbs from me and my gf. Definite alternative to a tent in fair weather can be used in rain with a line ran above. I wouldn't be really rough with this. Grand trunk AT hammock is this ones big brother and a better choice for backpacking.
