"I like it. It's comfy."

| So far I really like this pack. I bought it for some hut to hut hiking in the Swiss Alps this summer, but I've been using it on my bike to work for the past week or so. I chose this pack because when I was at Moosejaw, I tried on about 15, and it was tough to find one with a good fit both for women and just for me. This is the only pack that had wide enough straps so as not to squish my chest and hip pads that kept the weight on my hips comfortably. There is a women's version of this pack, but they didn't have my size when I went to buy one, and this one didn't feel much different. I was happy about that because I'm not sure that women who hike are looking for purple packs that shou | |

"Long, Light, Roomy & Comfy Daypack"

| The Tall Vapor Day Pack is a rare find for those of us with torso lengths of 21+".The added length gives the Vapor Day the look of a multiday pack,i.e.-long and narrow vs the wide and short cut of typical daypacks.I bought Granite Gear's side accessory pouches (which are supposed to be compatable with all GG packs) to add to my Vapor Day.I was surprised to discover that the hip-belt configuration of the V-Day is different from that of other GG packs. The accessory pouches can not be attached to the V-Day as the installation directions indicate. Also, in spite of the listed hip belt size chart, the belt closes around my 42"+ belly (with four inches of slack on either side.) | |

| I mainly use this pack for day hikes and snowshoeing. It's a good size for packing a light lunch, clothing layers for 1 to 2 people, raingear, and any other small items. Its very comfortable, and the padded hipbelt and harness stay snug and hug the hips and torso well enough with even a full load that I don't even notice it. My favorite feature is the add on accessory pouch that you can get specific for either the right or left side of your hipbelt. Its perfect for storing easy to get too items such as car keys, camera, headlamp, energy bar, etc. I haven't found anything yet that I dislike about this pack. | |
