Greenfield Color Coated Slip-Ring Fluke Anchors Reviews:

Negative Reviews:

looks cool, doesn't work

This anchor often doesn't bite into the ground, I think for 2 reasons - one is the rubber coating, the second is that both flukes are flared in the same direction, whereas other anchors of this variety are flared in opposite directions - one side up, one side down. So I think if you get the down flared side to hit the ground, it will dig in, but if you get the flat side facing the ground, it will probably just slide across the ground - not what you want in an anchor.

Doesn't hold

The coating on this anchor limits the movement of the flukes and I think it makes it too slick to bite.

I have set many different anchors but can't get this to bite even in shallow waters/sandy bottom

Poor anchor

Used as a rear anchor at a lake. Would not hold when any wind came up. Coating keeps it from getting a good bite. Arm bent on the 3rd use.

Worst anchor I ever had

Will not dig in and hold. Almost impossible to set. Arm bends, no strength. Going to use as a Lawn ornament.

Neutral Reviews:

Almost a good one

It's easily storable and takes up little room, the issue is that it takes a bit of time to dig in and hold. At times I can feel it slip. If you have a larger boat or deal with decent currents, this may not be the right choice for you.
Overall I like it but would like one a bit larger.

Greenfield 22lb anchor

Nice anchor but it is realtively big and hard to store for a 22lb anchor.
