The Best!!! | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Offers the best performance. This stuff doesn't taste good but it's the best flavor compared to others. I got lost in the mountains, found a road, dumped my pack, and took off looking for help. I took 2 things: my water bottle and 4 packs of GU. It is a real lifesaver. It was my energy supplement of choice on Kilimanjaro. I will use GU for the rest of my life. This is THE product I will swear by for as long as live. Cliff bars are good but GU is better. | |

Lemon: The Least Disgusting Gu
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Lemon Gu is probably the least disgusting flavor (also counting similar brands). Tri Berry with caffeine is tolerable as well. All of them provide a quick boost and are easy to get down (with water, I think something horrible happens to your insides if you have Gu without water, doesn't it?). Packages tend to get a bit sticky when open, which can be a pain when shoving empties back into the pack. Basically, though, with this stuff and coffee candies, I can hike indefinitely. | |

Great Boost | |

| So far I've tried the Chocolate and the Tri-berry. The Chocolate is great, tastes like a really good pudding, almost frosting like. Works great before a race or while cycling/running/hiking. That being said it didn't work well for me during a recent triathlon, it was a bit too thick to get down at race pace. Tri-berry I really didn't like the taste of, it's not as thick as the chocolate, I did get it down and it does provide a good boost. | |

GOTTA HAVE GU! | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Ever since I tried GU, I now always have a few of these in my tennis bag. Goes down much easier than energy bars, and the Vanilla Bean is pretty yummy. Perfect when you need that quick boost of energy when you're dragging, but don't really feel like you want to eat much. I've given these to fellow tennis players when they've also needed a boost of energy, and now they are asking where I buy my GU. [...] | |

Great stuff | |

| Great stuff. Vanilla bean is the best tasting though I use the non-caffinated Strawberry/Bananna which tastes good but not like the vanilla. I use it for biking when I need a quick boost before hill climbs. Noticed a difference the first time I used one and have at least one with me every time I go out. | |

Great Value | |

| This is a great value. You can't just buy a couple at a time. I love the GU. The vanilla Bean and TriBerry are my favorites. They are easier to eat and pack than a full on power bar type energy boost. I use them most for mountain biking and they really make a difference. | |

Tasty! | |

| Used these for a backpacking trip. I really noticed a boost 15-30 minutes after I took it. Really liked the Strawberry Banana flavor! Went down easy mid hike with a few sips of water after. I will definitely use these again on my next trip. | |

Get the Vanilla Bean!!!
| Rating: | ![]() |
| This stuff saved my butt on a recent hike. It's crazy how much it helped. A great boost when you are crashing. Get the Vanilla Bean. It tastes like a really mild mocha. The other ones taste like garbage. | |

Lemon and Tri-Berry are the best
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I agree [...]. The lemon and tri-berry are the only flavors that taste half decent to me. All of the others were really nasty tasting. | |
