Works for me! | |

| When I first installed the charcoal filter I didn't soak it enough, but after a few runs through the charcoal taste was gone. It really does remove the chlorine taste quite well. I use the TapGuard when I travel, filling up my water bottle from airport fountains and then decanting into a second water bottle so I have two full bottles. When I drink from the water bottle with the TapGuard if I want a lot of water quickly I suck on it a bit. Once I learned best how to use it I really love the product. | |

Where have you been all my life?

| I love the TapGuard! I use the TapGuard during daily errands, at the Gym, and at work. I even used it at the airport and on the plane! I didn't have to get ripped off and buy a bottle of water! I did have to get used to drinking out of the TapGuard because the water is actually being filtered and comes out at a semi-slower rate, but it was simple! I am so impressed with Guyot Designs' motive to create a simple, inexpensive product that will be extremely beneficial to our planet! | |

| I recently drove from Maine to Arizona and back. I used the tap guard the entire time. I would fill my bottle at gas stations and rest stops and use the tap guard to deal with the taste of the water. I would often sample the water with out using the tap guard and found that the tap guard does what it says it does. I drank a lot of water on this trip and saved myself a lot of money using the tap guard. | |

Save the planet one bottle at a time!

| I was so excited when I first heard about the TapGuard. I couldn't understand why there wasn't anything like it on the market. It is easy to use and it's convenience is unbeatable. I always carry around my reusable water bottle, but I was too disgusted to use water fountains in my office or at the gym. I never have to buy a water bottle again! It is also at a steal of a deal! | |

Finally I can drink my tap water!

| Just bought the Tapguard off a recommendation from a friend. I was skeptical at first (I didn't believe anything could get rid of the weird taste of our tap water). But get this, it TOTALLY worked! I had my roommate do a taste test just to make sure I wasn't imagining it. Now if only the folks at Guyot could make one that removed Giardia so I wouldn't have to pack my filter. | |

Now I Drink out of the Pool

| Seriously if it can make the Philadelphia water taste good you really could use it to drink out of a pool. I'm amazed. This product is going to change my life. It completely kills the terrible over-chlorinated taste of my tap water. It's easy to install, you can fill up with it in place and it filters as you drink. Really great product! | |

| I often find that tap water from different cities taste a little off. I used to buy bottled water on road trips when filtered water wasn't available. The tapguard completely eliminates the need for that. As for carbon residue, it's no worse than a Brita filter, I really don't notice it. | |

| I regularly travel to mainland China, where the tap water is not potable. The tap guard saves me from having to use between 6 and 10 bottles of water a day in a country where plastic waste is already staggering. | |

| when it works, it works really well, but i found that the little bags were prone to bursting, leaving me with a mouthful of carbon. i also found that the weight of the filter would pull it out of the mouth of the nalgene bottle, leaving me to fish around in the bottle to get the filter back up to the neck. this happened frequently enough that i stopped using iti'd liked to have returned it, but felt that it wasnt right to return an item that was food related, so its been binned and i'm out [$]not one of my better REI purchasesi was suprised as most of guyot designs items are so well designed | |

| I was very excited when I ordered this product. However it uses a carbon filter and the water was gritty. It was very slow to come out of the spout. After 4 uses the carbon pouch busted open leaving me with a mouth full of gritt! I love the concept of the product but it is a bad design. I am sending it back ! | |
