I have three kids and I recently traveled out of the country, passports and all. This is barely big enough to hold four passports, associated boarding passes and travel documents. That said, this size would work at most for a couple traveling together; best for travel alone as it could replace a wallet or purse. The hook on the strap is very small if you need to keep clasping and unclasping it from another travel piece. The design is nice and the magnetic closure make opening and closing it easy while juggling suitcases, ID and boarding passes.
