The zipper for the main compartment of this bag has two long tabs at either end that allow you to really open it up and get inside. However, I found that having those tabs free and not connected to the bag made opening the zipper with one hand very problematic. So I just got out the needle and thread and sewed the tabs to the inside of the bag. NOW it is the perfect everyday bag for me! I love having the two zippered pockets on the front for phone and keys, and there is a nice big zippered pocket on the back in addition to the zippered main compartment. There are so many pockets for organization, making it really easy for me to find things in the bag. I also love the adjustable strap so I can wear it across my body or as a shoulder bag.

I love this purse. It appears to be like leather but it is not, so I like that. It is a perfect size for me and I was concerned about the strap being a different color, but once I got it, it really looks great. I love the green color inside the purse. I can find things easier. The service from Zappos was great too. Thanks.

I love this purse. I purchased the black option and love that I can either show the side with the design... or flip the purse to show the side without the design. I like that the outside pockets can be left unzipped for easy accessiblity - or zipped for security. I love the size of it... just right.

I bought a 7" tablet, with all my purses I didn't have the perfect one for carrying the tablet. This purse is perfect. It is very light-weight so when I put my "stuff" and the tablet in, it isn't heavy. Works well as cross-body, too.

This is a great size for an everyday bag. I can carry a large wallet, a small water bottle and still have room for an umbrella and a book. I often take public transit so the zip-up pockets are great for keeping my stuff secured.

My new favorite bag! Well thought out compartments make it easy to organize & find items. The strap is plenty long enough to wear cross body, or shorten when needed. The small outside pockets fit my cell phone perfectly.

Negative Reviews:

I am not impressed with the quality of this bag. Rather I was initially. They are much cuter than the original Haiku bags unfortunately these are still plagued with the same problem as the original bags. The seatbelt style webbing used for the shoulder strap started fraying on what is the back side of the purse when I wear it crossbody, I just noticed this weekend in less than 1 month of use, it has completely frayed out of the stitching on that side. I'm very glad I got this bag on sale because now it will probably be full price when I add RMA shipping and shipping for the exchanged product with hopes that the new one will not fray. For portraying themselves as an outdoor brand at many of the big outdoor retailers, I really dislike the attention to quality with Haiku. My mom had a similar experience with an older Haiku messenger bag literally falling apart in only one year that made me hesitant to even buy this. Obviously the new style and materials are no better. Now I know why my local outdoor store stopped carrying this brand. Other than that, this bag is a great size, fit my Nook Tablet and another notebook that I like to carry around, iphone, too big wallet, makeup and some small toiletry items. It's a great size without looking like I'm toting around a messenger bag. This bag was made in China and it's very apparent.
