These are a great hiking boot that require little to no break-in and are light enough and comfortable enough that they can be worn all day, every day. I found the length and width to run true to size, but they are a very roomy boot so those of you with a narrower foot may want to consider wearing a little heavier weight sock to get a nice, snug, fit. At the recommendation of a Hanwag USA sales rep I initially ordered down 1/2 size but my toes hit the end of the boot so I re-ordered in my normal size. Thanks to Zappos I had the replacement boots the very next day. Amazing! Love these boots! Love doing business with Zappos!
