I use Craft Fur to add the special touch in appearance when generating a Shrimp or Crab pattern. My salt water patterns look very life like and "Critter-Like" in appeaance when adding a small tuft of Craft Fur. Extra Select Craft Fur offers everything I look for in a material that will extend pattern life and the abuse the salt water habit places on a pattern. You can't go wrong with its appearance. The amount provided is a more then ample amont and allows you to tie many-many patterns. I use it repeatedly on a wide majority of my salt water patterns. ThumbBuster
I tie jigs and use bucktail a lot as well as craft hair well when I saw Cabela's had what they called "extra select" craft fur I needed to try it and I really didn't expect it to be different but it was. This stuff handles well, it is easy to tie but most importantly, it looks and acts very natural in the water, it undulates and sways in the water with very little to almost no movement, the smallmouth jigs I made with this are going to be incredible fish catchers!!
