Can't wait to try it

Haven't tied with it yet but, having given it a good look-over, it think it will do a great job. I can see how it will allow me to tie larger flies than I can with marabou. The brief instructions provided were also quite helpful and gave me a couple of interesting ideas.

Negative Reviews:

Not Even Close

The fly shops in town were out of black marabou but had plenty of this stuff. (that should be a hint right there) Picked this up to try on some buggers. This stuff is not even close to marabou in terms of movement in the water. Appears stiff and synthetic. Fish seemed to agree. I continue to pick up big browns on my remaining real marabou buggers but nothing on those tied with this stuff. No surprise. Looks like something the cat threw up in the water. It ties OK and may last forever but is going into the dubbing pile.

psuedo marabou

Pro's: silky feeling, life-like movement, easy to blend/shape.
Con's: tangles easily, loses shape quickly.
