Great solution for quickly cleating

On my S20 race boat I moved the jib/genoa cleats to these risers. It makes the sheet much easier to get in and out quickly. It was a big improvement and allows one handed cleating/uncleating.

Be careful before ordering

This angled riser is just a thin 15-degree wedge of plastic and only one per package, so it is rather expensive for what it is.

Be aware that using the angled riser changes the angle of the fixing screws for the cleat. When used with an existing cleat, new screw holes will be required, perhaps needing a tapped thread in a backing plate.
