Positive Reviews:

really nice for the price

Rating:*****
We weren't sure what size to get for our new Necky Manitou 13 (also purchased from Sierra--they were really nice for the price, and didn't have any defects that we could see--although no longer available, don't hesitate to get one if you have been wondering about what they would be like--[...])So, we ordered the large. It was a perfect fit, but the bar was too wide for the cockpit. I opened the nylon, took out the plastic bar, cut it and put it back in. You could never tell, and now it is a perfect fit. There is a mesh pocket on top, perfect for your waterproof GPS. They are really nice for the price as state above. These were our "extra" kayaks--for creeks and rivers and for recreation. These skirts are for that, too. We don't plan on doing any rolls, so for just keeping spray off and for spring or fall paddling, you can't beat the quality or price.

Harmony Ultralight II Sprayskirt

Rating:*****
I particularly like the zippered pouch on the front/top. This fit the kayak perfectly. Kept me dry in choppy water on the Columbia and kept the sun from baking me! I was so delighted. Great buy as well. And on top of everything else, it LOOKS GOOD!

High Quality

Rating:****
It appears to be high quality material. I have had Sympatex on other products, it works very well. It has a good reflective strip, and it has a support (flex-bar?) on the under side to keep water from puddling. It should work well and last for years.

great deal

Rating:*****
This is an amazing spray skirt for the price, the quality is excellent and it's easy to use. I would have paid over twice this amount at my local kayak shop. My husband liked it so much I think he might order one too.

Worked good for my tandem prijon odesse

Rating:****
Worked good for my tandem prijon odessee. Difficult to attach. But doable. I think the openings of the prijon are pretty small. So the fit is a lil loose. Well made product in the u.s.

Love this sprayskirt!

Rating:****
Great for keeping warm and dry during Fall and Spring kayaking. I bought the red one and it looks great. Waist is totally adjustable, and very comfortable.

Great product

Rating:*****
The large fit my Dagger Edisto perfectly. The skirt seems well made and durable. At this price, you can't go wrong. [...]

I would buy this product again.

Rating:*****
Seems very well built, haven't used on a warm day, may be a bit warm, but will keep you dry.

Awesome buy, fits Old Town Rush Perfectl

Rating:*****
This was a no-brainer that fits my Old Town Rush kayak perfectly. Get one while they still have them.

Negative Reviews:

Was a little smaller than mentioned.

Rating:**
I sent this spray skirt back for the next size up. Regrettably this style wasn't available in the XL size, so I had to get one of lower quality for a higher price. If I had known about the sizing problem from the beginning, there might have been an XL available to order.
nymphea at Sierra Trading Post on 09/07/2009

Not for agressive Kayaking

Rating:**
This would probably be OK on calm water, however if rough water, or you plan on bracing or rolling this will leak very babdly. I plan on returning.

Neutral Reviews:

Disappointed that it didn't fit

Rating:***
Really liked this skirt but had to return it as the large size didn't fit the Dagger Blackwater 12 with 38 x 21 cockpit, even though it was supposed to fit up to 39 x 22. Also the waist was snug on my husband's 40" waist, so I seriously doubt that a 52" waist could be squeezed into it! I would recommend this if you have plenty of room in your measurements, as the quality seemed high.

Nice Sprayskirt for the money

Rating:***
I have a dagger blackwater kayak and carolina 14.5 kayak both with 38"x21" cockpits and the large size did not fit had to go to extra large size.

Little loose but tolerable

Rating:***
Will use this in the Baja but it's not the tightest fit.
