It used to be that only bike messengers rode around on fixed gear bikes, but more and more you see people riding them like an oversized BMX bike, doing tricks and spins on them. Haro blurred the lines a little more when they designed the Projekt Bike, with a flip-flop rear hub so you can keep it fixed for throwing down all sorts of track stands and backwards roundabouts, and a freewheel on the other side for when you'd rather comfortable cruise your Projekt around town without having to keep up with the pedals.
