Impressed

Hands down, this is the best knife I've ever owned. I shot a 225 lb wild hog tonight. The first thing I did after I cleaned the animal was to make this post. I've gone through 3 other knives butchering hogs, not a single one cut as easily as this. This knife is still razor sharp. I've never seen anything like it. Absolutely amazing. I cleaned it and will continue to use it until it's dull - I'm assuming will be awhile. Do yourself a favor and purchase this if you need a durable, sharp knife. You won't be upset that you did. I know it's a bit high on the price, but trust me, it's well worth it.

good knife

This is a good knife, with good blades. You can find a sharper knife in my kitchen (hence, not 5 stars), but this is my new go-to knife for my hunting kit. I've used it to cut up one deer so far, and I like it a lot better than my other knives for boning, skinning, and even cutting my steaks. The replacement blades are very convenient when I have extensive cutting to do in the field. The handle has excellent grips when things get. . . slippery.

Great tool.!

Great tool for skinning anything that I have run into in North America. Very, very sharp. Obviously. Looking back I would have gone with the smaller Piranta, it is a lot easier to maneuver and work with. Take it from me you could easily slip up and need about 13 - 14 stitches. Not my proudest moment as a hunter. But still a very useful tool. Even used it to filet the thick chewy fat off the back of a back strap on a whitetail.

Great knife, great price

A friend purchased one of these knives and was telling me about it. I purchased one to see if I would like it. After using it to gutless field dress an elk and a deer I was so impressed I just now ordered the smaller one for my fishing needs.
