Great knife

I have been using this knife for over a year now and have cleaned many walleyes. You can filet 25 to 30 fish before changing to another blade. It should be pointed out that after cleaning your fish you should pull the blade apart and rinse it off because sometimes the scales can dry in between the blade holder and the blade and cause a problem pulling them apart.
I have also cleaned several lake trout and northern pike with ease, it is nice to have a always sharp knife.
Great product!

Very Sharp!!!

Very sharp!!! Great knife. Replacing blades is easy but isn't needed very often. Blades stay sharp for a long time. The only problem is that once you get your hands dirty, the knife gets dirty and can be very hard to clean because of the little crevices and creases. Nothing a little water pressure and soap can fix. Overall, a very great knife.

Overall good quality, but has a niche...

Purchased knife for an Alaskan fishing trip. I liked the replacable blades which you can change out easily and quickly. Used the knife for salmon and found that the blade was a little too short. It would work great for smaller fish, but would suggest a longer blade knife for larger fish. Blade seemed to dull some after filleting out 6-8 salmon. Not sure if that is typical?? I didn't try, but you might be able to use a sharpener to make the blades last longer. Liked that the knife folded and was smaller for ease of storage when compared to other solid blade fillet knives.
