Blocks sun, catches sweat well

I can't ride without a helmet liner - I get terrible sun burns through the helmet vents. I've tried several brands, this one is the best, most comfortable. I never ride without one now. The tail looks funny, but it covers the back of my neck effectively. Black is better than white for sun blocking, and I don't think the color contributes to heating at all. The sweat-dampened fabric is cooling. I used to use Headsweats' head band (excellent, too), but my dermatologist told me to cover up. Their head band does a better job of collecting sweat, but after awhile, both get saturated, like all other brands. The elastic in this liner is low tension, just enough. Other brands are tight fitting and become intolerable after a few miles. I've tried 'em all. Perhaps the snug ones are for riders who don't use helmets. Artwork is goofy, but under the helmet who cares?

Great for bicycling and motorcycling

I use this liner under my bicycle and motorcycle helmets. The built-in sweat band keeps the sweat from running down into my eyes, and it helps keep the liner of my motorcycle cleaner. I have three of these, and they are indispendable on any ride.

Soaks it up

I wear this for mtb riding. It fits a little tight. One size fits all does not apply all the time. It would be nice if it was adjustable, like a do-rag should be. It keeps the sweat out of my eyes, but leaves an impression on my forehead.
