Heddon Sonar Lure

This thing is absolutely killer for huge Walleye. I was out one windy day on the river and dealing with heavy current and had just lost my last 3/8 ounce jig and was looking for something to throw that could handle the current and the wind so I put this on in 1/2 ounces and was able to throw it into the wind and work it through the current. I started getting huge walleye on every cast. A nine and two eights on consecutive casts and a bunch of other decent sized fish. Wow. My friend who guides for Walleye had never seen anything like it.

I have used this lure since I was a kid. It works great for northern pike, large and smallmouth bass, walleye, and lake trout. The chrome or gold colors work best depending on the water quality you are fishing. You must remove the metal clip attached to the lure and throw it away. I have lost two lures using it. Works best if tied directly to the lure or using a small snap swivel or short steel leader. Lure gives off an amazing vibration when retrieving it that causes fish to strike it hard. Recommended if you want more and bigger fish.

The Heddon Sonar is a fish catching lure with many applications,its unique design is the key,from the internal rattle to the multiple connection points. This lure allows me to catch fish when other baits fail,I have tested it quite extensively and in certain conditions it's nearly magic! The only bait even moderately similar is the Silver Buddy,however the Sonar wins out in every way.
