Okay, this shoe is not for uncoordinated kids. I bought a pair for my 7 year old daughter and 8 year old son. My girl is an athlete and was able to glide around in a day. My son took longer and had a couple falls, but is also able to glide around now. You may want to wear protective gear for the head, knees, hands, etc. to be safe. It's like riding a skateboard or roller skates. It looks easy, but you must proceed with caution. If I haven't scared you off yet, please order a full size larger than usual. These shoes run very small. I had to order 2 sizes up for my son. I must confess my kids love these shoes, but I kind of wish I never bought them since I'm waiting for someone to break something.
My daughter loved these. They were exactly what she asked for. They take some time to get used to and schools have banned them so they are outside and home use. My daughter is a serious klutz, so I have to monitor her on these. Cool shoe.
These were the cutest Heelys!!! Easiest way to order a gift!! And was recieved with 3 days!! I was so satisfied with my product and how quickly Zappos was to expedite my order! I will definitely be ordering again in the near future!!
