just like it say's... Courtesy Lights

Easy install, nice addition.Sufficient light output for low power courtesy lighting underway and at the dock. I put them in the ceiling around the perimeter and have cold cathode lights in the center of the salon and aft cabin. this combo works great.
The price could be $10 lower and they would be 5 stars instead of 4.

great light

Use it for my interior boat lighting. Does not overwelm the cockpit with glearing light at night.

Negative Reviews:

Not bright enough for interior at all!

It's a waste of money! Way too dim compared to halogen lights. If you're planning to install these for the boat's interior, you'll probably need to buy a dozen to be sufficient enough to light up your cabin.

great look, not bright at all

This product is not anywhere close to being bright enough. It's good as a night light, however if yiur cooking in the dark, you'll struggle to see.
