Helle Comfort Baby

I have the "perfect storm" of issues that cause me foot, knee, and back pain, from flat feet to knock knees to a slight curvature of the spine, and I could stand to lose a few pounds, too. I've had to wear ugly orthopedic shoes for as long as I can remember. I've been wearing Dansko exclusively for the last ten years since I take a size 11 and I can't size up for an orthotic insert to fix into my shoes, so I need the supportive arch in the shoe itself. But let's face it, Danskos, generally speaking, are less than fashionable and lately, they been poorly made (in my opinion) in comparison to early models. This week I decided to just go for it and spend the extra money on a great looking pair of comfort shoes instead of buying a couple pairs of comfortable, yet ugly Danskos! I got the Helle Comfort "Baby" in Calgary Yellow, and they are by far the most beautiful comfort shoes I have ever tried on in my entire life of 40 years! The footbed is lined in the softest material you can imagine and the adjustable strappy leather upper is so pretty, I could just cry with joy. Best of all, the shoes offers a cute kitten-type heel that looks fantastic, but is as supportive, if not more so, as a Dansko. Where have the Helle Comfort shoes been all my life, for my high school prom, for work, for parties, etc.? I am planning on wearing this beautiful yellow pair to my wedding next month, and I am thrilled to be able to walk and dance without pain while looking good and being able to show off my pedicure! Love them -- they are worth every last penny!

Finally a shoe that truly meets my needs & they are well worth the price considering I spent $400 for a pair of Naot sandals fitted with my custom orthotic. I have flat feet, high arch & short toes coupled with a very bad back which makes walking distances incredibly difficult. I had basically given up on stylish yet functional shoes until I found Helle Comfort & I'm fast becoming a collector of this brand. This shoe gives a casual dressy look when paired with jeans but it is also classy & looks nice with my maxi dresses. My boyfriend was so impressed that I was able to walk around in these shoes for 10 hours straight while sightseeing on our vacation without any complaints. Thank you Zappos for bringing this brand to my door in record time & for making my life easier.

Helle Comfort are the only heel I've found that works for me. I wear orthotics in flat shoes normally. The arch and metatarsal support are fantastic in these heels. No pinching or squeezing my feet. Flexible soft foot bed. I like Zappos. They are relaxed but still professional and helpful.

I have these in black and brown. I agree with another reviewer who said "where have you been, Helle Comfort!" I have foot issues but when I wear these, I feel stylish and comfortable, too! A bit expensive, but worth it!
