Positive Reviews:

Comfort and Quality at Reasonable Price

My husband had a very similar older pair of boots, however these have several improvements which he likes. The heavy rubber piece over the toe will help protect the suede material from wearing away and also protect his toes when climbing over rocks. The heel cut out is cut much more generous than his older pair and doesn't cut into his lower leg as much.

I would by this product again and I have

These are my 3rd pair of Mt Nevis boots. I use them for work and they stand up to some pretty harsh treatment. I got about 5-6 months use out of each of the last 2 pairs, wearing them 5 days a week, so I expect the same with these.I would definetly recommend these boots to anyone

Negative Reviews:

Seems made for Partial Foot Amputees

Have worn lots of HiTec footwear, have two pair of their boots right now, always wear a 10. But when these arrive, the taper of the toe area from the outer border ( 5th toe) to the mid-foot line is so severe that my average width foot would not go all the way in. I checked to be sure the shoe was not a womens' model, or marked incorrectly but it seems to be correctly marked. I wish that I had a digital camera and I could take a picture from directly above, looking straight down at the shoe from the top to demonstrate this odd shape.

I don't know how the other reviewers managed, unless they have "B" or possibly "C" width feet, but I was terribly disappointed that I could not even get these on. I'm having to return them.

Seems made for Partial Foot Amputees

Could not get it on my foot; have several other pair of HiTec that I wear and love, but this does not fit at all like them.
