Never lost | |

| the best thing about this thing is the light. I use it every-time when I am on the trail and it is convenient to have an extra compact light just in case. It is durable also I have dropped it a couple of times and it still works | |

Great Tool Cool Features BUT...
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Here are the CONS: Time/ Clock has no lockout protection, the Hr & Min buttons if pressed will change the time setting easily. Temperature readings are slow, I waited more then 15 minutes to get a temp, constant on might give you a current reading. But turning on the tool and expecting an immediate reading will not happen, you will have to wait. Holding down MODE will turn ON & OFF the display protecting the time setting from accidentally being changed but you will have to wait a long while before you get a TEMP. The compass is great because it's damping fluid allows it to point you north quickly and with good accuracy. But north could have been treated with some sort of glow markings for night time or evening readings. No loop for clips to latch on to just two small holes for the lanyard to loop , there should have been at lease a loop for adding a split ring or snap clip. | |

Good but slightly underwhelming
| Rating: | ![]() |
| It's okay for being "non-tech". If this thing had a back light and an altimeter it would be a steal instead of 'slightly underwhelming'. Realistic usable features are the compass, light and thermometer. Decide if this what you're needs are when considering purchasing this unit. I'll probably Velcro it to a shoulder strap or waist belt on my backpack. Battery life remains to be seen. | |
