Great backpacking watch | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I went in to REI a couple of months ago to purchase a Suunto Core and came out with this watch. I was looking for a watch that had an altimeter and thermometer plus all the other basic functions. So far this watch has been great. The altimeter is surprisingly accurate for a [$] watch. I like the forecast function as well. It should be noted that the forecast function is only accurate if you are outside for an extended period of time. The thermometer is accurate as well and like all of the other watches you have to remove it from your wrist to get an accurate reading. The backlight works great, makes it easy to read the numbers. Another nice feature about the watch is that it is not obtrusive like many of the other multifunction watches. It fits low to the wrist and has a comfortable light feel to it. If you are looking for a nice backcountry watch for less money then this is the watch to get. | |
