Can't beat it for the price!!

Rating:****
I bought two of these bags for my kids snowboards. You would be able to fit two boards in one bag, if you took off the bindings. There was plenty of room for a snowboard with bindings and some gear as well. My daugter, who is a much better packer than my son, even got her boots in the bag. It was good to have that extra gear in there (jackets, gloves, pants) because it offered a little extra protection. For some reason the ends of the bag are not padded like the middle of the bag. Just stuff your stuff down there, no problems. The one thing that was wierd, and inconvenient, is that there is a zipper on only one end of the bag. You need to shove your stuff into it from the top. Would have been better if the zipper went all the way around, but it only goes about 1/3 of the way...if that. We checked it through at the airport, everything arrived safe and sound. The bag appears to be sturdy and well made. Just a wierd zipper...You could pay more, LOTS more, for something similar that might be a little easier to pack, and when my kids grow up and make thier own money they are welcome to do that. For now, when I have to pay, this was a GREAT deal and served its purpose perfectly!

Great Bag!

I previously bought this snowboard bag and used it for plane travel all over the country. Not only did I put my snowboard in there, but I also fit my boots, helmet, coat, extra shoes and a bunch of other clothes! I stuffed it! It lasted me 7 years before I started getting small tears from airline wear so I just bought another one. It is a good deal for the price!

Good for carrying, hard to stuff...

Rating:****
The bag is big enough to hold my snowboard and my boots. It is think in comparison to another I had. My only issue with it is the zipper is only at one end which makes it difficult to pack in much more that just your snowboard. For plane trips I'd rather have one a little larger to pack my gear in as well.

Great quality bag at an economical price

Rating:*****
I purchased this snow boarding bag for my 12 year old son and he loves it. It is a little big for his board, but judging by the quality of the bag, I'm sure it will last long enough for him to grow into the size of the board bag.

Worked for a week in Beaver Creek, CO.

Rating:****
Got this for my first snowboard trip (to Beaver Creek). I was able to fit the board, bindings, and my giant size 14 boots (barely) with all my pants and jackets and socks for a week of riding. Just barely fit, but didn't burst.

Seems durable

Rating:****
This seems like a solid bag. I was surprised by the quality, seeing as how it was made in China. I haven't used it yet. I'm heading to Whistler in one week, so we'll see how it stands up to airline baggage handlers!

HIgh Sierra rates again

Bought these padded snowboard bags for my teenage sons for a Tahoe trip. Have purchased a number of High Sierra ski/ boot/ board/ clothing bags in the past and have always been happy with the quality and durability. Nothing fancy but terrific features.

Nice for the price.

Rating:****
This bag is just what I expected for a reasonable price. Sure, it doesn't have all the features of some of the pricier bags, but I prefer to use my $$ on the slopes. This bag suits my needs just fine.

Awesome for the money

Rating:****
I bought this bag to store my snowboard, boots and bindings in. Its pretty roomy because it held all three very well, plus gloves, pants and goggles. Im glad I found a nice bag for a good price.

I would recommned the product

Rating:****
Great product....it is worth the value. I was basically looking for a cheap snowboarding bag. I encountered this one and bought it. It good bag, tough and comes with a guarantee, but never used that guarantee.

Negative Reviews:

Not what I expected

Rating:**
It contained my board and extra clothing for protection for a bus trip to Breckenridge and the bag still ended up with holes in it. I thought it would be great because of the reference to the US SKI TEAM.

May be a good value, but I wanted more

Rating:**
I returned this item shortly after it arrived. It appeared cheaply assembled and I doubted it would last me very long. The padding also seemed lacking. For the price I wasn't expecting perfection, but was hoping for a little more.

High Sierra snowboard bag

Rating:***
After reading the previous reviews on this bag, I felt pretty comfortable buying this bag for my snowboard. I was aware of the zipper only on one end, and didn't think it would be that big of a deal, but I quickly realized that it's kind of a pain to slide the board (with bindings) in/out. Some other things I don't care for are the unpadded ends, and interior material not being very durable against the sharp edges of the board. Don't get me wrong, it's a decent basic bag for local trips or storage, but I'm not going to be taking it on any long trips, especially if baggage handlers are involved. I'll be giving this bag to my nephew, and upgrading.
Gunnar at Sierra Trading Post on 01/28/2009

Decent all-purpose bag

Rating:***
This is a great bag for basic needs and for protecting the board for travel. Although the padding does not extend through the entire bag, the size allowed me to fill with clothes, etc to help further protect.
Evil StepDad at Sierra Trading Post on 02/16/2009

sufficient

Rating:***
Bought this for my first plane trip with my board. Didn't think it had enough padding to withstand baggage handling, so added my own. However, the price was right...

Good for the money!

Rating:***
Great bag but the zipper is only on the top half of bag. You have to slide the board in from the top and can get inconvenient.
