This jacket is impressive | |

| First, I'm a guy. I bought a small Madrid jacket in red for my girlfriend. She hasn't seen it yet, but I'm so impressed I'm going to give it a review. I'm familiar with jackets from Burton, Bonfire, Descente, Foursquare, DC, etc. First, it was so good looking I couldn't resist trying it on. It's tight on me, but I can tell it's cut very flatteringly for a female figure. What struck me is how comfortable it is - the inside is wayyy soft, the pockets are well placed, and it has wrist gaiters. Oh the wrist gaiters. It's really hard to find them on any jackets. This one comes with them and they are super comfy and I'm jealous. The jacket is reinforced with kevlar, and the fabric is clearly high quality, as is the general construction. This is a premium piece of equipment. I was expecting a shell, but the jacket has just enough insulation that you could wear around town and stay warm and super stylish. It's well designed with great features - zip off powder skirt, removable belt, fleece lined hand pockets, pit zips, to name a few. I can't wait to see it in action on the mountain! | |
