Designed by guys, for guys, the Clutch comes through with classic good looks, rugged durability, and supreme comfort, when you need it most. Think Joe Montana in the 4th quarter, MJ at the foul line, Kelly Slater in the final Pipe Masters heat. Made from 90% Cotton/ 10% Ottomatic fabric, these pants are burly enough for work, but benign enough for day to day wear. Beefed-up with triple-needle stitching on the outseam, back rise and rear yoke and rivet reinforced front, back and utility pockets. The interior waistband is lined with a soft shirting and the trousers have been enzyme washed to give a jump start on feeling good all over. There is nothing faux here, just straight forward style in a relaxed fit that will only get better the more time you spend in them.
Specs:
Durable and strong, but far from predictable, the Horny Toad Men's Clutch Pant knows how to work hard but lives for the weekend. As burly as your old corduroys, these pants feature a cotton/nylon blend woven into pronounced horizontal cords, giving them a unique style and tons of strength. Strong doesn't always equal stiff, and the Clutch Pants prove it. Their relaxed fit and enzyme wash make them comfortable to wear for long, active days. Several pockets add convenience without detracting from the clean lines and sharp silhouette.

Decent but cannot double for in town.

Overall pant works fine for warmer weather use out of doors; hiking, working, etc. My issue is that the legs are very wide and the material while not as stiff as say a Carhartt, is none the less stiffer than a normal khaki. This makes them really look strange, worn with anything smaller than a boot. Some of my other pants are more versatile and can double as a dressier pant when worn with a smaller shoe for say, a night on the town.

Some people say these pants look goof, but its loose enough on my ass to be acceptable and tough enough to work/hike/whatever in and soft enough to be comfy. They are sick, i got my size and they fit perfect.

Used these pants hiking in Sedona and the Grand Canyon. best word to describe them is comfort. The breathe great and hold up well to snags and abbrasions. Well worth the money and true to size.

I have been a big fan of horney toad for 5 years. These pants simple fit great and hold up. The bozo who says they don't dress up is obviously shopping at the wrong site.

Good For Outdoors, not in town

These pants work well for work, hiking, etc. but have a stiffness about them and a rather wide leg that makes them look awkward when worn with anything smaller than a boot. While they more than cut the mustard in terms of ruggedness, and they cannot be convincingly "dressed up" and worn to town for things more formal than say a lumberjack contest.
