Just rcvd these and they are exactly what I've been looking for. The wool fabric is the perfect thickness for winter and they fit exactly. I got XS as am 5'1'' and the length is just right. I went online immediately to buy another pair but my size is sold out. I had already rcvd the Icebreaker GT220 Quantum Pant but they are thinner than what I was expecting. I guess they are more for cold weather running. So will keep both but the Ibex pants are way warmer and the waistband is more comfortable. I love merino wool clothing as it is warm and comfortable and lasts for years so is worth the expense and Ibex makes some good products.

| The facts: the wool is thick and stretchy. The stitching is good quality. They hang very slim from the stylish, "v" shaped waist, which I imagine would flatter any body type. No question~these are my favorite wool pants of all time. In fact, I don't believe that I will ever love a pair of pants more. They fit beautifully, if slightly larger than some (I'm 5'8" and size 6~the small is perfect.) I've climbed a 14-er in biting wind and blowing snow without an outer bottom layer in these, then turned around the next day (they didn't even need a washing!) and jaunted around town feeling both incredibly comfortable and casually stylish. They're purr-fect. | |

Great - not perfect. | |

| I loved these pants right out of the package. They are very thick, much thicker than other name brand wool pants I've tried recently, but slightly more rough. The cut and style is very flattering except the leg opening is too wide, which makes them sloppy looking and not great for outside excursions. They're really best for just lounging around the house. Also, after about two weeks of wear I've noticed the knee area stretched out to look permanently contoured (like when you hang a sweater on a hanger and get that stretched out part on the shoulders). Over all, these pants are close to perfect, but not quite. | |

I received these pants as a gift which I was so excited for. I am in love with these pants and I wish I could wear them everyday for everything. I could have used an xs, I am 5' but the s is working fine. The wool is amazing and comforatble. Not itchy or too warm. I was trying to figure out how to xc ski or do yoga in them! I wish I could buy more! Great company and great product!

Beautiful fit, beautiful feel

| Really, really cozy and comfy. The merino wool is soft and completely itch-free. Fits well but allows for full freedom of movement for yoga -- or for taking a cat nap. Suitable too for just hanging around when you want to be casual but look great. Packs easily, doesn't wrinkle, so ideal for travel. Wish this had a zippered pocket -- then these would be even more perfect than they are already. Ibex, how about making these in more colors? Hint, hint! | |

Pefect Pants! | |

I bought two pair of these pants in black and brown last year and intend to buy gray this year. These are the perfect winter pants . They wash beautifully and looks just like new after a full season. My only complaint is that they were a little long for me, so I took them to the tailor and had them shortened.

These pants are comfy and toasty beyond cotton yoga-style pants. Love them. However, these are expensive for the intended use. Also, the length is exceptionally long. I am 5'7" and they drag. I intend to hem this which is an easy fix. So overall these are wonderful lounging pants, and great to put on after an exhausting day on the trails!

| Not for long legs...These are really beautiful, well-made, and comfortable pants. However, I am going to return them because I am 5'9" and they are barely long enough, and will likely shorten after washing. I wish they had these in tall sizes. The cut is very flattering. I am really sad about the length. | |

| I really like these pants, very comfortable, flattering fit. They were a little long, and they're not the type of pants I would wear with heels so I had to hem them (I'm 5'6" tall), but this is probably better in case you're taller. | |
