Dispelling the myth that wool is a fabric only worn in the winter, the Icebreaker GT180 Short Sleeve Chase Zip Top for Men is a lightweight, high performance wool top that will keep you regulated temperature, wick moisture and resist odor no matter the weather. Flatlock seam construction, reflective banding, and a zippered hip pocket make the Chase Zip Top ideal for backcountry skiing, Nordic skiing, backpacking, trail running, cycling, or mountain biking.
Give your competitors a run for their money when you train in the Icebreaker Men’s GT180 Chase Zip Long-Sleeve Top. Merino wool breathes easy, repels odor, and is machine washable. Gusseted eyelets give you more freedom of movement while a drop tail keeps you covered. Flat lock seam construction means no annoying chaffing a few miles into your run. Tuck your key and some cash away in the handy chest zipper pocket and you’re on your way.

I'm sold on Merino wool as a base layer for long distance hiking and cycling trips. I've been using zip turtlenecks from SmartWool, Ibex, IceBreaker and Patagonia for years. I don't find any difference in the quality of wool between those four brands, but the fit and details vary a little. Right now, I believe this model is one of the few available that has a deep zipper, so it's my favorite right now.

This shirt is outstanding!!! Icebreaker wicks moisture better than anything I've seen! You can actually see it work. I've worn it trail running on rainy days, and skiing in all conditions and I can't find anything but good things to say about it. Well, maybe one thing. The sleeves fit a little loose at the wrists but that's minor. Don't know what I'm going to do with all my polypro shirts now.

This is pretty darn nice but, it's itchy. Can't wait to use it when it gets cold.
