J.G. Glover's Sahara Harrow coat is made of dry wax cotton, the latest development in the evolution of oilskin fabrics. Polyurethane-impregnated cotton poplin provides the weather-resistant characteristics and rich patina of traditional waxed cotton without any reproofing or an oily feel.

Good for those in-between days.

| Great for those in-between days in Spring and Fall. I wear it to work, working around the farm and when I'm working my border collies. Too nice to use for heavy dirty work, but probably up to the task. I would add an additional inside pocket which would make two instead of just one. | |

Just what we were looking for

| We were having a hard time finding a jacket to replace an old favorite in the same style and were pleasantly surprised to find this site and the range of products available. The descriptions were accurate. The product was good quality and the price was great. | |

This coat ran too large, I think.

| While the length of sleeves and jacket were overall correct, this jacket was far too wide. We are returning it for a medium, even though my husband normally wears a large. Thank you! | |

Good feel to jacket | |

| Good for rainy days. It's cut very roomy to allow for bulky wool sweaters. Since I don't usually wear those kind of sweaters I find it has too much room in the chest. | |

My Fine Everyday Coat | |

| This is the coat that hangs next to the door so that I can grab it on my way out. It is the perfect coat for the transition seasons in New England. | |

Just what I needed! | |

| This is the replacement I have been looking for my old field coat, except it is warmer, lighter and more water repellent. You can't go wrong with this coat. | |

Very nice coat | |

| Very nice coat. I took it on a trip to Iowa and it was plenty warm for temps in the 30s and 40s. | |

Decent Coat | |

| Like others have said, it is cut too broadly in the chest area. Otherwise I like the coat. | |

Sizing is incorret | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I wear a solid size 42 which would suggest a large. Large was way over sized. I ordered a medium, but even that was oversized! So I will need to return the both orders. | |

mis-sized | |

| It's wrong size. The length of arms & sleeves are ok, but overall it's so bulky and long. | |

It's in the details | |
| Rating: | ![]() |
| I was impressed with the overall quality with the exception of an errant overstitching on one side of the collar which is visible. However it felt too roomy/oversized for the medium size it was marked. sleeve length was good, just too loose fitting. Sheds water well.medium weight jacket not too warm not too light.I feel the collar could be a little smaller-it looks a bit wide. The coat would be much better if they had only included an internal drawstring of sorts to be able to cinch up the coat in the waist area, and maybe a way to tighten the bottom of the sleeves. This would give the coat a more custom fit and make it look more stylish in my opinion. | |

Good quality - sizing way too large
| Rating: | ![]() |
| Excellent quality but atrocious sizing. I normally wear an extra large but ordered a large based on warnings from other purchasers. It is still cut too wide yet is short in the sleeves. It is as if they sized it like a short men's suit. | |
