Positive Reviews:

Okay so far - Used only once

Used just once so far, for hiking on snow. Like all the compartments, bladder fits okay. Could use a bigger hole for putting the tube through. Happy for ice axe loop, but requires a good strap at top of pack to secure it. Pack protrudes further than I would like - could use compression straps toward the top. Would like straps or anchors on bottom of pack to lash stuff. Chest strap should adjust even higher for those of us who are small females, but need a larger pack. Could use more substantial waist strap.

Having said all of this, I think I am going to be very happy with this pack. It is difficult to find one with all the details I like.

Perfect For The Active Nerd!

This bag was just what the Dr. ordered! I work downtown, do a lot of sailing, and I dont always go home at night! Its good to have a bag thats strong, comfortable, has easy access, can, hold some personals, dress shoes, laptop, snacks, and a rain parka. 25lbs or more daily and its commom to walk a mile between buses, cabs, subways, and boats. I've tried a few bags :( Thank God for a real Urban Daypack! :))

Large and roomy

I probably could have gone down a size, but it has a lot of room and many pockets for my textbooks and laptop. It's great as a student. It is sort of heavy so I don't know how it would fair for backpacking or similar use, but it has a nice cushion for your back so you might be okay.

Awesome Backpack provides comfort&space

My son is a senior in High School and has gone thru many backpacks during the years. This is his absolute favorite! It is stylish and comfortable. It has enough room for books & a laptop. Most importantly, he says the air vent cushions on the shoulder straps and back of pack make it very comfortable to carry.

Versatile Pack

I've had one for years and use it for just about everything. A book bag for school, day hikes and travel. It has proven to be very versatile and has withstood a great deal of abuse with no problems. My wife started hiking with me and I bought another one for her. Love the pack.

Love the Odyssey

Used the backpack as a carryon for heavier stuff on trip to Cancun. Got 6 pairs of shorts and 8 t-shirts (rolled up), notebook, ipad, headphones, cellphone, wallet, watch, junkfood, etc. Easily fit under front seat. Very well thought-out backpack.

Negative Reviews:

Good but pricey

I bought it for my son since it was his birthday wish. I would never make this choice myself.

Neutral Reviews:

Decent backpack

Good backpack, it was just too bulky for me and the waist strap was really cheap and inadequate for its size
