Works for me

Have not used this camping yet, just tested it in my garage frying eggs. Yes, it is *not* non-stick. Based on the reviews here (thanks!) I used a liberal amount of cooking oil -- eggs cooked well, they still stuck a bit during cooking but cleanup was no problem. I might actually find a reason to use this on outings. Rated only four stars only because, though it is probably a fair price for the quality of product, it is still a lot to pay for something that in the past I have rarely found a use for.

(Note that you need the Jetboil pot support for this, which comes with the GCS but not the PCS or Flash. You can get a pot support along with another stabilizer (which you might already have), or get just the pot support as a spare part from the company.)

Quality vs. Price

I always say you get what you pay for. This fry pan is a little more expensive than others, but i've already invested in jet boil stove so that did sway me some. I've loved from the first day, very minimal and well thought out design from start to finish.

Great addition to cooking utensils

This frypan is ideal for cooking food that needs to be turned with tongs or spatula. It heats quickly and is easy to clean.

Negative Reviews:

Impossible to clean

While I love my Jet Boil for many things, this pan is terrible about food sticking. I always use oil and no matter how much you use, food still sticks and makes cleanup extremely difficult. I thought that after "seasoning" it with more frequent use, it may work better. It has been two seasons now, and I still dislike this product.

Not not-stick - don't forget the oil

While this is a great, lightweight and useful product it didn't serve me well on our first trip. I assumed this was a non-stick pan and did not bring oil. A large part of our breakfast meal plan relied upon this pan. But without oil quickly realized we'd need to improvise. Lesson: don't assume, and be prepared.
