MY igniter kept getting stuck and after my friend lighting it off his lit one and causing a huge flame ball, and using matches all the time I thought I was going to need a new jet boil. But I got this and problem solved for a lot less! It is easy to install as well. so save some bucks and fix it this way!

JetBoil Maint Kit = Cheap Insurance
| Rating: | ![]() |
The JetBoil maintenane kit is cheap insurance to ensure that your JetBoil stove keep boiling. All of the common parts that could wear out or break are included. The whole thing can be put in a small zip lock and be kept in the cup or with your other gear repair stuff that you take on the trail. Good piece of gear.

The kit worked out good. I dropped the Jet Boil, and it busted the ignition. So this kit worked out sweet, and I just replaced the ignition and it works like a charm. Don't know about the O ring and jet yet, haven't used the stove enough to need those replaced.

This was a great little kit that helped me refurbish my Jetboil. I had broken the igniter and I find this thing difficult to light without it. I replaced the o-ring (but couldn't tell much difference). Im glad they make this kit.

This was a good buy. I had the ignitor going out on me so I ordered this kit. It is a very simple replacement process. It is also oh so effective.

| Don't know why someone gave the replacement parts a 3 star. They work great. Keep one with you at all times. | |

not all there | |

I bought the maintenance kit for future use, but only received an ignitor and no o-ring or fuel jet. I e-mailed backcountry about the discrepancy, but never received a reply or replacement part. It is not worth the shipping cost to return. The ignitor is the main thing I wanted, but be aware you may not get exactly what is pictured. Everything else I ordered was as expected.

Poor Quality Cooking Surfaces

Still not sold on JB system. The hot spots in the middle of the fry pan and pot belie the value of the heat dispersal fins. The speed at which water boils is the only feature JB can boast. The pot and fry pan are not worth the money, and the edge of my (gift) spatula melted on its maiden voyage.

Unfortunately a must. | |

| Igniter broke after one use. Have some extra orings, jet...etc. would be cheaper to just get a couple packs of lighters. | |
