| A great boot if you give it a chance. This boot is an excellent match of military appearance and Casual Friday functionality. I wear them with jeans as often as I do with a blazer. They fit a bit narrow in width and snug around the ankle, which are both positives for me since boots like Dr. Martins tend to be huge in those dimensions. As previously noted, these boots come deliberately distressed to give a broken in appearance, which is fine, but it is done too deliberately and makes the boot look a bit odd when first taken out of the box. However, a quick polish and shine reduces the severity of the scuffs and now I have a great fitting, attractive, and ultra comfortable pair of boots. I love them and I get compliments on them as well. | |

| Comments for Jump Torch - All in short - I like the boots. They are pretty comfortable and look great. Please note that they are deliberately distressed, which actually contributes to the look. I looked for something durable, simple and classic and that's exactly what they are, in my view. So - recommended! | |

| Pretty Lame - I don't consider these to be quality boots. The leather feels cheap and plastic-like, and to distract you from the poor leather, they run the boots over a power sander or something to distress them: silly. They are also quite narrow. On the plus side, they would look good if it weren't for the distressing, and the sole is relatively stiff. I dislike boots that have flexible soles and thus don't provide your feet a stable platform. | |
