I go through many pairs of boys\' shoes from Zappos to find ones that will work for my friend\'s boy. Because the boy has a wide foot, I have to be sure not only to get Wide, but also be sure the opening is large enough to slip a foot in, or, like this pair, has a velcro opening to enlarge the area.\r\nThe other issue is that the young sir has a fashion sense like his father and picks out only the sharpest looking footwear. This shoe met all the requirements.

This is a narrow shoe. We ordered it in a wide width and it was more like a medium -- so if your child normally wears medium width, order wide. If they normally wear wide, buy something else. Now this shoe is very very cute, and looks great. So for the medium width child I say go for it.

I bought these shoes for my 3 year old nephew because he has long wide feet. The shoes are stylish but the velcro straps will not stay at all. My poor nephew's shoes flip as he walks. I will most likely not buy this type of shoe, unless they come in extra wide, maybe.

These are great shoes. They are very comfy for my 7 year old son and he actually asks to wear these over his sneakers! The look snazzy for dress up.
